A lovely session, short (as I had to go to work) but sweet. I rigged my 5m and little board to start with as the wind was around 25 knots, but it dropped off pretty quickly so I ended up going out on my bigger kit (5.7m and big board). Glad I did as I was perfectly powered up with it and managed to blast out through the waves for a nice session. The wind did pick up a little again and according to the weather station when I got home had been gusting to 27 knots, but the big kit felt fine.. In fact there was a few moments when a little more wind would have been nice.

Not much jumping on the way out as the wind was pretty much onshore, but I did have some lovely wave-rides on the way back in. Had to get off the water to go to work, but I wouldn't have lasted much longer anyway without shedding some neoprene... It was just too hot out there... Mad considering it is January!
